Problem:
Beginning with the forced Andrew ID password change earlier this year, some users are experiencing an issue where Windows is keeping an old wireless password cached and thus not authenticating to the CMU-SECURE wireless network.
Solution:
- Click the Start Menu and select Settings
- Select the Network & Internet settings item
- On the left pane, select Wi-Fi
- Click Manage Known Networks
- In the list, select CMU-SECURE and click Forget (see Other Networks below)
- Reboot your machine
- Attempt to reconnect to CMU-SECURE using your Andrew ID and new password
