VMware Horizon View is a client and browser based application which lets you access computer systems (physical and virtual) which participate in a computer pool. At CMU the VMware implementation is known as Virtual Andrew. ECE has added some of our Windows computer lab systems to several ECE room based pools so it is possible to attend a course lab session remotely.

ECE Windows Pools Decommissioned

HH1303, HHA101 and HHA104 Windows Pools have been decommissioned as part of ECE HH lab renovations as of 11 May 2022. ECE AH-101 Pool A and ECE AH-101 Pool B have been removed from service. 



The following ECE pools are available for people participating in ECE courses, during course meeting times, access may be limited to course participants:
