ECE ITS is migrating client Macs to a new Mobile Device Management (MDM) system, and there are a few steps required to ensure that your system is enrolled in the new MDM server.

ACTIONS REQUIRED:

  1. On your Mac, open System Preferences and navigate to Profiles. (If "Profiles" is not listed, skip to step 3)
  2. Inside "Profiles", remove any configuration profiles listed in the left pane by highlighting the profile and clicking the "-" at the bottom of the pane.
  3. Navigate to the following link and sign-in with your Andrew ID :: https://eceits.jamfcloud.com/enroll
  4. Click "Continue" to continue enrollment, which will prompt you to Save a file named "enrollmentProfile.mobileconfig"
  5. After saving, open the file named enrollmentProfile.mobileconfig
    • If you are on MacOS 10.x, the Profiles screen will automatically appear, where you can install the profile by entering your password
    • If you are on MacOS 11.x "Big Sur" or greater, you will need to open System Preferences -> Profiles and click the "Install" button to continue.
  6. Once the profile has been installed, your Mac has been enrolled. You may see some additional apps install or a pop-up asking you to re-enter your password for FileVault purposes.
