Update diploma delivery address

To receive your diploma in the mail, you must update SIO with your diploma mailing address. CMU can mail diplomas worldwide. When you enter your address, consider adding a mailing address where you intend to reside at the time when diplomas are mailed to graduates. If you are not sure where you will reside, consider providing the mailing address of a friend or family member to receive the diploma on your behalf.

NOTE: Your diploma mailing address is a different data field in SIO than your permanent or local mailing address. Every graduate student must provide a diploma mailing address in order for the diploma vendor to mail your document to you. 

Step-by-step guide

To update your diploma delivery address:

1. Login to SIO account
2. Click Academic Info tab in top navigation panel
3. Click Graduation and Diploma option from drop-down menu
4. Scroll to bottom of screen for Diploma Delivery section
5. Optional: If mailing address fields are read-only, provide your academic advisor with your preferred mailing address.
