Confluence - Personal Space Content Migration

Overview:

Resulting in switching to Google Authentication, one extra step is required to retrieve your personal space content after moving to Cloud. Your Personal Space content has been migrated as part of the Cloud migration, but is not yet attached to your new account.

Please review the below instructions to retrieve your migrated Personal Space content.

How-To:

  1. Login to the Confluence Cloud site at https://cmu-enterprise.atlassian.net/wiki
    1. Use Sign-in w/ Google to sign in with your Andrew ID
  2. Click on your Profile Icon in the top-right corner and select "Create Personal Space"
    1. This space is now accessible via your Profile Icon > My Personal Space
  3. In the navigation menu at the top of the window, select Spaces > View all Spaces
  4. In the list, the content of your personal space will be in a new space called ecetemp-YourAndrewID
    1. (This is not public, you are the only person that can access your content here)
  5. You can then move pages using the three-dots menu → Move , and select your personal space as the destination.

If you run into any issues with the above, or you cannot find your content, please contact Keith Kain via kain@cmu.edu.
